zubedy's Two Ears, One Mouth is a workshop that aims to foster better working relationship between management and the workforce. When management acknowledges the importance of staff and demonstrate their care by listening to them, the feeling of unity, care and togetherness will be forged. As a result, this will increase staff productivity, reduce stress and many other intangible benefits will prevail.

    In short, counseling helps to develop staff to their full potential. In the end, a "whole" person comes to work - bringing forth not just his/her skills and expertise but most importantly, one's intrinsic personality and potential.

    Those who need counseling skills especially management staffs that have people reporting to them.

      Teaching Approach

      Skewed towards self-realization, this workshop is based on experiential learning through various exercises, games, role-plays and group dynamics. This workshop focuses on the areas of 'Emotions/Attitude' with the goal of creating a spirit of acceptance.

        Objectives

        • Discover that counseling skills can be easily practised and is not restricted to only professionals;
        • Develop a better listening and counseling skills;
        • Become a better listener and be seen as an approachable and understanding superior, thus opening the door to effective communication between staff and subordinate, resulting in higher work productivity;
        • See the importance of developing a person-to-person relationship;
        • Be able to recognize a situation that calls for counseling;
        • Be able to communicate and interact better by listening with the heart and
        • Be able to create an environment that stimulates self-expression.

        Highlights

        Learn how counselors use counseling skills to develop rapport with their clients, so that you can apply in the work place without being a professional counselor.

          Role plays on how to listen: First hand practice by trial and error the way to listen and how to improve listening.
