zubedy's PAY is a presentation
skills workshop with a difference. PAY pursues the quest of
helping participants discover their inherent best;
particularly in the areas of presentation, communication and
interaction. PAY is designed to convince participants that
their personality and experiences in life are valid and
unique; thus providing the important platform to become a good
presenter. In short, PAY teaches participants on how they can
present as themselves but be much better than usual.

|
Who should
attend
Those with job functions that
need presentations like Sales & Marketing Personnel,
Trainers, Senior Managers, Managers and Executives whose
responsibilities entail a lot of presentations.
|
|
Teaching Approach
PAY draws active
participations! Participants are encouraged to bring forth
real presentation issues that they face in their day-to-day
job functions. Participants will be videotaped during their
presentations and the video will form the basis of discussion
between the facilitator, the class and the individual
participants. The feedback is extremely useful at helping
participants see both their strengths and weaknesses in their
presentations.

Objectives
The core objective of PAY is to
guide participants on how to present as themselves but be much
better than usual, with emphasis on:
- Message focus;
- Understanding You, The Audience and The Situation
('YAS');
- Preparing a presentation;
- Creativity in presentation and
- The techniques of reading a speech.
|
|
Highlights
- Psychology of presentation: Each action or inaction
during a presentation should have its reasons. This is to
ensure the whole presentation is received the way the
presenter wants it to be received. How to plan the
presentation according to the audience's anxiety level?
- Learning from the Advertising Industry: How to pack your
core message in such a short time as a 30 second commercial?
How can we learn from the industry in our delivery of
presentations?
- Learning how to read a speech through learning the
techniques of singing: There are a lot of similarities
between singing and reading a speech. A fun singing session
will take place and from there participants will learn how
to cross-fertilize ideas from the music and entertainment
industry with the more staid world of speech reading.
