Malaya gained independence on August 31 1957 and on September 16 1963, Sabah, Sarawak and the federation of Malaya united to become a glorious country known to the world today as Malaysia. On this day, we celebrate Hari Malaysia commemorating a milestone in the formation of our Malaysian identity. At zubedy, Hari Malaysia means much to us as it truly means being Malaysian.
