Since the dawn of time, people have been drawn into projects, as there
are always buildings to erect, roads to pave and laws to write. At present,
organization projects include implementation of new technologies, mergers,
organization restructuring and new business ventures.
However, most projects fail to achieve their objective to be completed
on time, on budget and on target. More than half of those failures are
the result of project teams not thinking through the goals, risks, and
issues, and lacking in overall planning before jumping into action. When
we fail to plan, we plan to fail. Thus, the project is doom even before
it begins. The Project Management workshop seeks to address these issues.
Throughout the workshop, participants would be exposed to 'The Working
Workshop' approach that focuses on Dual Learning Environment. This approach
would increase the participants' theoretical and practical understanding
through 'hands-on' experience. Participants are required to bring into
the workshop an actual project and we will walk-through in assisting the
participants on how to kick-start their project.
Participants are required to select a project of their choice for the
development of a Project Blueprint. Upon completing the workshop, participants
will be able to utilize the completed Project Blueprint to immediately
carry out detail project planning and implementation.
