Anas Zubedy - Managing Director of zubedy
Anas Zubedy is a Malaysian businessman who speaks English, Malay, Hokkien, and some Tamil. Born in Penang in 1964, he grew up amongst Malays, Chinese, Indians and Eurasians. His early socialisation and experiences shaped his beliefs in multiculturalism and created a deep desire within himself to promote unity. A graduate of Universiti Malaya, Anas worked in marketing and sales for a multinational before launching zubedy (m) sdn bhd, a for-profit organisation that combines business goals with a social cause. zubedy’s vision is to unite people and get them to work together, while its mission is to add value to everyone the organisation interacts with. Over the past 27 years zubedy has succeeded in striking a dynamic balance between making a profit and ensuring the wellbeing of its people and the communities it operates in. Anas’ first love is religion and culture; he spent more time reading about Hinduism, Chinese philosophy, Buddhism, Christianity and Islam than learning his coursework at the university. He is also passionate about change management, organisational behaviour, marketing, and politics. Anas loves teh tarik, roti canai, Penang laksa, and Indian food. He listens to an eclectic mix of music, avoids the television, and prefers to meet people, read, write, and work out. ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS Anas has written several books. Aizat Roslan holds a Masters In Business Administration with a Major in International Business from University of East London.
As a working professional, she has had experience working for MNCs as well as local large organizations. Aizat has been working with Zubedy since 2007. see more
She has undertook various roles in the organization that ranges from administrative work, that saw her working closely with the founder, organizing company’s activities and events to now is the Director of Sales in Zubedy. Her experience and exposure in a variety of backgrounds has helped shaped Aizat to be a highly capable communicator. She possesses good management and communication skills with a particular experience in engaging top managements as well as high ranked government public officials. Beyond the workplace, Aizat is also an active member of the International Movement for a JUST world ( JUST). She currently works with the organization for the International Youth Leadership Program (IYLP) where she engages with youth around the world to discuss current international affairs.
Aby Mahmood - Manager of Human Resources & Administration and
Facilitator
Aby Mahmood is a seasoned customer service professional with 13 years of experience, with a particular specialty in contact centres. He studied Hotel Management and Human Resource Management at Universiti Teknologi Mara, Shah Alam. see more
Aby started his career in Digi Telecommunications as a contact centre agent after he completed his studies. During his tenure there, he was assigned to various areas of contact centre from operations up to managerial roles. His last management and contact centre operation experience in a utility company sparked the interest to share his passion and experience with others. For him, sharing is caring. Born in Kuala Lumpur, Aby is a nature lover. He loves reading books about management and human behaviour, travelling, and also cooking. Aby is a family oriented individual with many treasures to share. He is young at heart and a unique individual. His warm personality allows him to connect with others with great ease. He has a very strong drive in uplifting the quality of customer service in Malaysia – a drive translated in his work as a full-time learning facilitator for zubedy.
Dayana Adinan – Head of Facilitators
Dayana Adinan has roots in the creative industries and many years of experience serving various organisations before moving into training and development. see more
Later, Dayana joined Zubedy Ideahouse (ZIH), the marketing communication arm of Zubedy. In ZIH, Dayana was the heart of its operations being the main figure in producing Zubedy’s many publications, advertisements, and events. Rising through the ranks in Zubedy, Dayana was later entrusted to lead YDeBuzz, a business unit in Zubedy responsible for team-building programs. With her experience managing YDeBuzz and running team-building programs, Dayana left ZIH and joined the parent company to be a full-time facilitator conducting various leadership, change, and skills programs. She is also an account manager handling Zubedy’s key accounts. At present, Dayana is now the Head of Facilitators/Head Facilitator in Zubedy. In this capacity, she oversees the management and developmental needs of all in-house and consultant facilitators in Zubedy. As an HRD Corp-accredited trainer herself, Dayana capitalises on her experience and injects her creativity into all her sessions. Beyond work, Dayana is lively and adventurous – evident from her love of motorcycle riding with her husband. Her vivacious personality goes well with her desire to uplift people both in personal and professional capacities.
Holding a Master in Visual Communication & New Media from Universiti Teknologi MARA with 1st Class Honours, Dayana started her career as a graphic designer in advertising & event management companies. In those companies, she was instrumental in handling many key clients including Celcom, Malaysia Airports, and various SMEs. Among her main portfolio was for a World Cup 2010 event.
Sharon Shamla Rajamanickam – Head of Sales and Facilitator
Sharon Shamla Rajamanickam is a first-class honours graduate from the University of East London (UEL), majoring in Graphic Design. Since the year 2015, she has worked at Zubedy M Sdn Bhd, where she has taken on a variety of roles, including in the creative arm of the company, sales, projects, and facilitation. This diverse experience has provided Sharon with a comprehensive understanding of the industry, enabling her to approach challenges from multiple perspectives and effectively engage with customers. see more
Sharon is an HRDC-accredited trainer and has also completed her SLDN induction certification. Her gentle leadership style makes her a valued team player, and her “heart of gold” translates seamlessly into her work in presentation, creative design, and marketing. Sharon’s diverse skill set and flexible approach to work have been instrumental in her success, making her a valuable asset to any team. Additionally, her experience in managing key accounts for Y De Buzz Teambuilding division highlights her dedication to providing excellent customer service and her commitment to continuous improvement to enhance overall customer experience.
